LGBTQ Ideology and the Spiritual Abuse of Children in Public Schools

Teaching children about LGBTQ ideology in schools is not only misguided, but it is also destructive to society. As Christians, we believe that God has designed marriage to be between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24). This understanding of marriage is not based on personal opinion or cultural norms, but on the clear teaching of the Bible.

When children are taught about LGBTQ ideology in schools, it undermines this foundational biblical understanding of marriage and the family which almost always leads to confusion and deception, especially for young, impressionable minds. Competing with conservative Christian parents who are trying to teach their children about God's design for marriage and sexuality, many schools are promoting a harmful and sinful lifestyle.

Furthermore, promoting “queer theory” and other LGBTQ ideologies in these public indoctrination camps violates the values and beliefs of Christian parents. Parents have the primary responsibility for the education and upbringing of their children (Deuteronomy 6:6-9). When schools promote LGBTQ ideology, they are overstepping their boundaries and imposing their own beliefs on children. This not only violates our rights as parents but also undermines our authority and responsibilities as parents.

But the problems with teaching children about LGBTQ ideology in schools go beyond just the undermining of biblical values and parental rights. This type of teaching also has detrimental effects on children and society as a whole.

For example, studies have shown that children who are exposed to LGBTQ ideology at a young age are more likely to engage in risky sexual behaviors and suffer from mental health issues. This is because these children are being taught that gender and sexuality are fluid and can be changed at will. This leads to confusion and a lack of direction in life, not to mention an increased risk of sexually transmitted diseases and other health problems.

Additionally, teaching children about LGBTQ ideology in schools can also lead to an increase in bullying and discrimination. When children are taught that certain lifestyles are acceptable and even celebrated, it can create an atmosphere of intolerance and disrespect toward children who do not agree with these beliefs. This can result in increased bullying and discrimination, especially towards children who come from families with traditional beliefs about marriage and sexuality.

But most importantly, this harms our children spiritually. Exposing children to LGBTQ ideology leads to a rejection of the biblical concept of sin and accountability to God. When children are taught that certain lifestyles are acceptable and even celebrated, it can create a sense of moral relativism which ultimately causes them to reject the idea that there is such a thing as objective truth and that we are accountable to a holy and righteous God.

Furthermore, teaching children about LGBTQ ideology can also hinder their ability to experience the fullness of life that God intends for them. When children are taught that they can define their own gender and sexuality, they are denied the opportunity to experience the joy, fulfillment, and meaning that come from living in accordance with God's design. Instead, they are being led down a path of confusion, deception, and ultimately, spiritual harm.

The endless promotion of this damning ideology in public schools is not just destructive to society but also destructive to the souls of those who are exposed to it. It is, undoubtedly, a form of spiritual abuse. It undermines the biblical understanding of marriage and the family, violates the rights of parents, and can have detrimental effects on children and society as a whole.

As Christians, we must stand firm in our beliefs and resist the pressure to conform to the world's standards. We must teach our children about God's design for marriage and sexuality, and uphold the biblical values that have been passed down to us while opposing the relentless indoctrination of our children.
